We all know how much effort has been put into bringing electric buses to India. As a result, we are slowly starting to see positive changes as there are many electric buses running in different Indian cities and states with their own special business model, battery and technology characteristics, operators, etc. Now that electric buses are on the roads, it is time to think ahead and see how one can make the most out of them by being able to monitor and extract their best performance abilities.

One of the ways to do this by battery management and battery monitoring. Batteries are the heart of the electric vehicles; it is very important to take care of them in order for its smooth functioning. Hence, this webinar addresses the topic of battery monitoring. Mr. Lutz Morawietz, Head of Battery Diagnostics, Volytica diagnostics GmbH, will share their experiences and learnings and also let us know how we can apply the same in our respective countries.

In this webinar, the following points will be discussed by our distinguished speaker:

•            Why & how should battery monitoring be done?
•            Battery parameters - degradation effects & potential mitigation strategies
•            Benefits of battery monitoring – explanation with an actual case study
•            What battery parameters should be included in tender while ordering an electric bus or vehicle? KPIs?
