Presentation of the Participatory Integrated Emissions Inventory of the AMG (English version)

This webinar aims to present the Inventory, the first integrated inventory of emissions of criteria pollutants and greenhouse gases and compounds for the nine municipalities that make up the AMG, base year 2018. This inventory is the result of collaboration between the air quality area of the World Resources Institute Mexico (WRI Mexico) and the Instituto Metropolitano de Planeación del Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara (IMEPLAN), in addition to the valuable participation of the nine municipalities that make up the AMG).  the inventory is validated by SEMARNAT and INECC.

This webinar also presents the main results of the inventory and the benefits of collaborative and participatory processes for data collection at the municipal level, as well as its usefulness in air quality management and climate change mitigation.

It also addresses the process and methodology to achieve a participatory emissions inventory, the characteristics and added knowledge that distinguish it from other inventories and the actions that derive from this tool for decision making and public policy generation.
